Designer Alexa Hampton to Unveil All American House
Renowned Interior Designer to Conduct VIP Tour
Alexandria, VA - MADE: In America, today announces the media preview for the All American House with interior designer Alexa Hampton. This first-of-its-kind show house will be hosted by Woodlawn, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, located in Alexandria, Virginia. Designed by the next generation of interior designers, the All American House will be a showcase of the best in American design and products.
The All American House will debut to the public on Saturday, April 20, 2013 and remain open through Sunday, June 16, 2013. It is the first in a planned series created to showcase American interior design against the backdrop of the Nation’s most important historic house properties. Noted designers Alexa Hampton and Barbara Hawthorn chair the All American House Honorary Steering Committee and the National Advisory Council respectively.

About Alexa Hampton: Alexa Hampton is the owner and featured designer of MARK HAMPTON, LLC, the world famous design firm founded in 1976 by her late father, Mark Hampton. Under her direction, the firm has completed a wide range of designs for domestic and international projects.
About Woodlawn and Pope-Leighey: Woodlawn, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is a historic home located in Alexandria, Virginia, and was originally a part of Mount Vernon, George Washington's historic plantation estate.
